General Info Edit Bjorn Basson is a try scoring machine.  He bagged 10 during the 2012 Super Rugby season, and holds a record 21 tries in a Currie Cup season from a rampant 2010 - where he also was named Player of the Year. Basson played his early Super Rugby for the Cheetahs and then in 2001 moved to the Bulls. He played a few games for the Emerging South Africa team, and made his debut for South Africa during the end of year tour to the north when they took on Wales.
