General Info
Edit
|
Chris Robshaw is an all-round tough loosie, happy playing either side of the scrum and relentless in his attitude.
He is a player that has impressed many with his talent, but wasn't always sought by the selectors. He was considered for the Lions tour to South Africa in 2008 as an uncapped player, and was on the fringe of selection for England right through to 2012, only earning a single caps and being overlooked for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
Things changed dramatically in 2012 when he was announced as captain of England in the first 2 Six Nations games, a position which he held through the remainder of the tournament. Aside from injury forced layoff, he has retained the position of captain since and is now a kingpin of the English side.
