General Info Edit Rene Ranger is an excitement machine!  He's one of the most explosive runners in the game, with instant pace, a massive sidestep and strength to burst tackles.  His low centre of gravity (short legs) gives superb balance and agility, and doesn't slow him down in the open.  He's a guy who hardly needs space, he creates space out of nothing. Ranger is best suited to the outside centres, but also does well on the wing. In 2010 Ranger quite deservedly earned three test caps.  It wasn't his lack of ability that saw him dropped, more a case of riches of talent for the selectors. In 2013 he's demonstrated more consistency, outstanding defence and a high work rate.  He must be knocking on the door of national selection once more.
