Brian O'Driscoll is one of the genuine hero's of the modern era, delivering on both quality and longevity and with multiple international records etched against his name. He has, and continues to be an outstanding crusader for his club Leinster, his country Ireland and combined international sides such as the British and Irish Lions and Barbarians sides.
He started out in sporting life playing Gaelic football, but soon moved to playing rugby. His teen years saw him playing at Flyhalf, before moving into his current position of Centre while at University.
His debut for Ireland was at the age of 20 on 12 June 1999 - a 46 to 10 loss to the Wallabies in Brisbane. This test cap came before he'd even run out for the senior team for his club Leinster! He now has an awesome 126 Test caps to his credit, which will certainly be increased through the 2013 year.
