General Info

Warburton was the youngest ever captain in Rugby World Cup history when he led Wales against South Africa in pool play of the 2011 tournament. Wales may have lost 17-16, but Warburten showed maturity and class in a well fought battle. He carried this standout form throughout pool play and into the playoffs, even being voted as 'player of Pool D' by the fans.
Unfortunately his tournament was cut short during the semi finals clash with France. Early in this game, right when then world's spotlight was shining, he hit hard to make a powerful tackle. But in a blink it morphed into a spear tackle and a Red Card followed, leaving 14 mates to bravely fight out a narrow loss.
The man is no stranger to leadership, having been in charge of Wales under 18, under 19 and under 20's teams.
Still young, a long and illustrious future beckons for this outstanding individual.
