Gloucester fly-half, Freddie Burns, has been called up to the England squad ahead of their clash with New Zealand, and the 22-year-old could well have a bright future at international level.
Leicester Tigers No.10, Toby Flood, will miss the encounter with the All Blacks on Saturday due to a toe injury, which has given Burns a chance to make his debut.
The youngster seems to have the balance between an organised and well-structured tactical game, combined with the flair that is crucial to unlock the very good defences on the international stage.
Head coach, Stuart Lancaster, certainly believes that Burns has a bright future ahead of him at this level and the stand-off seems to have the temperament to cope with the pressure.
Saracens youngster, Own Farrell, looks set to start against the All Blacks at Twickenham on Saturday and the potential battle between him, Burns, and Flood for the No.10 shirt in the future is an interesting one.
Farrell still needs to put 80 minutes of rugby together for England before he can really make a solid claim for the jersey.
According to the rugby tips online, Burns should feature this weekend, in what will be a baptism of fire for the Gloucester playmaker.
Hopefully, both these fly-halves and the thousands of supporters at Twickenham will get a look at how it should be done, if New Zealand No.10, Dan Carter, is fit to play.
The All Blacks superstar missed the encounter with Wales due to a minor injury picked up in training and it is hoped that he will return to action for their last game of the Autumn International Series.
Maybe fans who watch live rugby online will not be hoping that but the England stand-offs could learn a lot from the magician that is Carter.
