Super Rugby Round 12 Team of the Round features plenty of new names who haven't made the Team of the Round before. Hookers John Ulugia and Deon Fourie don't usually start for their teams and show how important depth is in Super Rugby. Julian Savea celebrated both his selection in the All Blacks and the Team of Round 12 on the same day! He scored 460 points to be the Player of the Round.
Plenty of other relatively fresh players in the team include Sharks Steven Sykes, Lwazi Mvovo and Jaques Botes. There aren't many New Zealand players in the forwards, while Sonny Bill Williams seems to be a regular in the team.
There are some major bargains, but don't be surprised if Ulugia, Fourie and Hobbs aren't guaranteed starting spots next week.
