Super Rugby Round 2 saw some interesting results. What did you make of them?
Super 15 Rugby 2012 saw some interesting viewing for fans. One of the more unusual sights was in Dunedin where the underdog Highlanders continued to outpassion the usually difficult to beat Crusaders. The talking point afterwards was how the clock at the flash new Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin could have the clock faster than the referee's watch and twice the Highlanders kicked the ball out thinking it was fulltime, only to have play continue. It was ridiculous and could have affected the outcome of the match.
A summary Super 15 Round 2
The Chiefs, Highlanders and Hurricanes are gutsy and play with passion despite not having all of the big names, unlike the disappointing Blues and the Crusaders who will welcome back Richie McCaw and Dan Carter eventually to their relief.
The Reds win last year was no fluke, while the Rebels and Force don't really have much. The Waratahs are effective.
The Bulls still have it despite losing players in the offseason and getting a player sent off. The Stormers and Sharks are the other good South African teams, while it seems that nothing has changed with the Cheetahs and Lions. South Africa still has the hottest cheerleaders in the competition!
