Super Rugby Round 12 review was mainly predictable. How did your picks go?
Super 15 Rugby Round 12 was more predictable than previous Super Rugby rounds, with the Highlanders costing some punters (including myself) a Grand Slam Bonus Point for picking the winner of every game two weeks in a row. That is what I get for not picking them against the Sharks and picking them against the Stormers!
Just over a third of SuperBru tipsters picked the Stormers, making it the least predictable game of Super Rugby Round 12, while the Waratahs win over the Hurricanes split the tipsters fifty-fifty. These two games were the major test for tipsters, but both home teams won, which adds more fuel to the idea of picking the home team when in doubt! Home teams won six of seven matches.
There were predictable wins in all the other matches, with the Chiefs and Blues victories picked by at least 90 percent of SuperBru tipsters.
The Blues, Crusaders and Chiefs had the biggest wins of Super Rugby Round 12, are they the most impressive teams?
Dave had a great week to take the yellow cap for the most improved tipster and move back into the top ten. Picking the Stormers to beat the Highlanders provided tipsters with an edge and picking all of the game winners gave tipsters a bonus point to thrust some tipsters up the ladder. Rocky leads the competition, while Super Rugby Tips owner the Chosen One is in 9th spot after two successive weeks of picking all but one winner.
