Aaron Cruden Dumped From The All Blacks, is this fair?
All Blacks first five eighth Aaron Cruden has been dropped from the All Blacks squad to play Argentina and South Africa. He was out late last Saturday night drinking and did not fly with the All Blacks to Argentina on Sunday.
Cruden hasn't been replaced in the All Blacks squad with Beauden Barrett and Colin Slade to provide cover, although it will be interesting to see what happens if either of these two get injured against Argentina.
Do you think Aaron Cruden has been treated fairly?
If the All Blacks team seeks perfection and professionalism then they must all buy into the culture and while this probably happens in most sports teams, it is hard to argue with Cruden being dropped, and given the depth at first five eighth then it probably won't hurt the All Blacks too much, although it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Barrett or Slade were injured at the moment.
