Here are ten players I want to see in action in the Rugby World Cup 2011.
Here are ten players to watch during Rugby World Cup 2011. I am really looking forward to seeing how these players go.
Israel Dagg (New Zealand) - Israel Dagg is a fullback with X Factor and he has a great kicking and catching game too. He found holes in the Springboks defence two weeks ago and will start the first game against Tonga. It is hard to know if he is the number one fullback or not.
Sonny Bill Williams (New Zealand) - SBW is a powerful player with the ability to break tackles and offload with ease. He can also put on big hits in defence. He will start against Tonga, but will battle with Ma'a Nonu, Conrad Smith and Richard Kahui for a midfield spot. That is the only problem with the All Blacks, they have quality players who may only play half of the games.
Manu Tuilagi (England) - This Samoan centre has big wraps on him based on impressive form for Leicester and a powerful physique. I don't think England are used to having such devastating runners in their backline. I can't wait to see how he goes.
Heinrich Brussouw (South Africa) - The Springboks open-side flanker is a menace at the breakdown getting turnovers for the South Africans. He adds a dimension to the big bulky Springbok forward pack. I think his low centre of gravity gives him an uncanny ability to secure ball at the breakdown.
Thierry Dusautoir (France) - Dusautoir is a www.testrugby.com stud and a top performing loose forward for the French. He has a habit of playing well against the All Blacks (who doesn't?) and works well with the likes of the man with a great name Imanol Harinordoquy.
Cedric Heymans (France) - I developed huge respect for this guy following a great try against the All Blacks in 2009.
David Pocock (Australia) - This guy is so strong at the breakdown and is destined for greatness. He was brilliant at getting turnovers at the breakdown in the Tri Nations this season.
Kurtley Beale (Australia) - Beale is part of the Australian brat pack along with James O'Connor, Quade Cooper and David Pocock who are gifted footballers and still really young despite being in the Wallabies for several seasons. He is such a slippery runner and counter attacker.
Will Genia (Australia) - I would suggest that Will Genia is the best halfback in the world at the moment. He has the ability to read the game well and is a dangerous runner. He is now the best halfback in the world and the Wallabies rely on him heavily.
Takudzwa Ngwenya (USA) - This American winger demands respect for this try where he stood up Springboks winger Bryan Habana at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
Who are you looking forward to seeing in the Rugby World Cup 2011?
