Scotty Donaldson looks at the Super Rugby competition.
The Super Rugby Quarter Final Knockout matches have finished with the Sharks and Crusaders looking good in securing comfortable victories in the end. These results set up two local derby Semi Final matches meaning there will be one team from New Zealand and one from South Africa in the final. These two matches will be difficult to pick and you wonder how much influence the referees will have in determining the team that will win Super Rugby 2012. The Crusaders have plenty of big match experience in the playoffs and are definitely the team to watch in my opinion.
Craig Joubert will referee the all New Zealand semi final while Steve Walsh will control the South African battle. Joubert is the best referee in the competition, but should he referee the final between a South African team and a New Zealand team?
Who do you think will win? I think that the Crusaders will be tough to beat.
With two weeks left, jasper is in the money position at the top of the www.superrugbytips.com SuperBru tipping competition. The chasing pack is all so close that it is far from a forgone conclusion.
