Who was your player of Super Rugby Round 6? Do you agree with the Team of the Round?
Super Rugby Round 6 included two upsets, while every game was won by the home team, but this didn't stop the Reds Quade Cooper from being named the Super Rugby Round 6 Player of the Round according to statistics from www.testrugby.com . Love him, or hate him, Quade Cooper was on fire as he scored 620 points in www.testrugby.com from 2 tries, an astounding 11 tackles, 8 go forwards, 1 line break, 4 successful goal kicks and 2 turnovers won. Cooper's efforts were in vain as the Reds lost to the Lions by 3 points. Cooper even upstaged the Hurricanes first five Beauden Barrett.
Nasi Manu and Matt Hodgson were two loose forwards to impress, although Hodgson was helped by scoring two tries.
The Super Rugby XV Round 6 Team of the Round included four Hurricanes despite their loss to the Highlanders. There are also some regulars in the team with the return of Israel Folau and Bismarck Du Plessis to the team.
Remember that the Lions, Force and Cheetahs have the bye in Super Rugby Round 7, so don't be tempted to invest in players from those teams.
