Six Nations 2013 starts this weekend, which teams and players are you picking to perform well in Round 1?
Six Nations 2013 starts this weekend and finally there is some top level test match rugby on!
Wales are the Six Nations 2012 champions, yet France and England go into the 2013 season as favourites, while no one would be surprised if Ireland defeated Wales in the opening match!
My picks
Ireland by 7 points over Wales
England by 7 points over Scotland
France by 14 points over Italy
There are some exciting players to watch in Six Nations 2013, as a kiwi I am interested in seeing how former Crusaders wing Sean Maitland goes, while England's Billy Twelvetrees gets a start in the England midfield in Manu Tuilagi's absence, while I have heard heaps about Simon Zebo.
I am picking several goalkickers in my team and trying to favour players from winning sides like France, England and Ireland. There is always room for some players from losing sides, with Sergio Parisse and Richie Gray proven points scorers!
