The June International Test Rugby week two sees six matches taking place. Below is a list of the starting lineups for the big three matches between New Zealand vs Ireland, Australia vs Wales, and South Africa vs England. There are also matches with Canada vs Italy, Fiji vs Scotland and Argentina vs France. Which match of these will be the closest? I think Canada vs Italy could be the closest, but the Australia vs Wales in many ways is the most intriguing given that the two teams involved are two of the young and exciting teams in world rugby.
Wales, Ireland and England have made plenty of changes following defeats last week and it is expected given that they are on tour, it is hardly surprising. Experience is order of the day, especially for Wales. Australia, New Zealand and South Africa have all kept the changes to a minimum.
Which match are you most looking forward to over the weekend? Who is the best team in the world at the moment?
As an All Blacks fan, I loved the way the played against Ireland and can't wait for them to play on Saturday night!
I think Ireland will put up more of a fight in the second match which will be played in colder and more damp conditions in Christchurch. Wales have the best shot at winning this weekend against Australia, while England will need more creativity if they are to beat South Africa.
