Scotty Donaldson gives a brief review of the June International Test Matches.
June International Test Rugby matches Week 2 have given us some epic finishes with Wales and Ireland getting so close to recording groundbreaking wins, but unfortunately close enough isn't good enough. It seems that the All Blacks were found wanting in slippery conditions against a passionate Ireland, while Australia relied on a late penalty to see off the determined Wales side. South Africa, Italy and Scotland eventually got the upper hands in their matches and won by comfortable margins. Argentina secured a narrow home win over France, putting them in a similar category to New Zealand and Australia.
Several of these matches were close and came down to the 80th minute. What was the most exciting game of the weekend? Does a close game, mean a good game? The New Zealand vs Ireland game wasn't of a good standard, but was close!
Canada 16 - 25 Italy
Fiji 25 - 37 Scotland
New Zealand 22 - 19 Ireland
South Africa 36 - 27 England
Australia 25 - 23 Wales
Argentina 23 - 20 France
