what did he think not showing up?

This is crazy how could he not even remember to go to the squad announcement for the Rugby world cup? only because he was too lazy and was to busy chilling.

A few years ago Quade Cooper, Kurtley Beale and James O'Connor was in a bar fight. its unacceptable for them to do things like that in a season where the team needs quality like that.

Nonetheless the Auzzies still won the last game against New Zealand without him but Coopers kicking display was not good so in that asset they need James. in the world cup James will be critical  for the team and if there is any team that stands a chance to beat New Zealand in the world cup it is Australia.

They will almost be like a home team in New Zealand so hopefully they live up to expectations. and if South Africa meet New Zealand in the Semi's then its the end of the road for the Boks because the Kiwi's aren't going to get beaten in New Zealand in front of the home crowd so good luck Boks.

O'Connor was a stand out performance in the super rugby season and hopefully that form will be carried into the world cup. And may the best team win.

He is not a popular Wallaby in Australia. Most people I talk to think that although he is very good, he is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. He is putting himself before the team and if his current behaviour continues he will quickly find himself in the same spot Matt Giteau is at the moment. Dingo wont put up with James' childish behaviour for long.

SHAME THE BIRD HE SHAGGED IN WAHROONGA ON THE DAY HE WENT MISSING DIDNT DRIVE HIM TO THE TRAIN STATION - IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A CAB UP THERE

I don't see the big deal, he's a 21 year old binge drinker,who tied one on and didn't show up for work..... hardly unusual or unique. When he buys a Nissan Sivia with a big-bore exhaust, starts wearing his baseball cap backwards and tells the media how "sweet" everything is, then I'll worry.

As a kiwi, I think only fair that we show him superior hospitality on the evening before the RWC final, and maybe he can sleep in again and miss the team bus on the morning of the final against NZ!
