The Rugby Championship has arrived. Are coaches picking on form or history? We've crunched the numbers and come up with a Test 15 for each country. How does this compare with the players actually selected and do you agree?

This squads have been picked entirely on TESTRUGBY.com fantasy points earned from the full 2014 Super Rugby Season including finals. The calculation only includes the starting 15 of each week, and a player must have started at least 6 games in their position. The position they most commonly played is the position they are considered for, and only games played in that position contribute toward the calculation.

	7 . The Commish 14 Aug 2014 06:12 PM The Springbok selectors seem to know better... plus have called on a squad well represented from non-Super Rugby players. We'll find out who's right in a few weeks!

The Commish 14 Aug 2014 06:04 PM What about the AB's selectors - were they listing? 7 are in the AB's Starting 15: Dane Coles, Sam Whitelock, Jerome Kaino, Ma'a Nonu, Malakai Fekitoa, Julian Savea, Ben Smith. 2 are in the AB's Reserves: Ben Franks, Beauden Barrett. 6 are not in the AB's 23: Jeffery Toomaga-Allen, Patrick Tuipulotu (Clear up and coming, edged by utility Luatua), Liam Messam (Would be but "needs another week off after a heavy Super Rugby workload" and edged by utility Luatua), Luke Braid, Tawera Kerr-Barlow (Bad luck, edged by Perenara), Tim Nanai-Williams.

Refinements were injected to strip non-nationals to leave more relevant test sides - Fekitoa was listing in TESTRUGBY.com as Tongan and so was excluded. He still is rather Tongan, but now he's also a very All Blacks worthy Kiwi. Thanks for your one or two questions, it's prompted the listing to be corrected.
	1 . Barcaldine Bunyips 11 Aug 2014 05:36 PM Some good stats Commish. One question...Why no Fekitoa? Did he not start most games? Or did he swap between 12 and 13 a bit? He certainly outscored had a better average than Smith and Nonu. Ok...more than one question admittedly.
