All Blacks hooker will probably miss the Johannesburg test between the All Blacks and Springboks, but it isn't until the end of The Rugby Championship, so don't sell him yet!
All Blacks hooker Dane Coles is likely to miss the All Blacks Rugby Championship test match in Johannesburg in 2014 with his wife expecting a baby.
This is similar to what kept centre Conrad Smith out of the All Blacks test against the Wallabies in Sydney. Hopefully the All Blacks will have won the Rugby Championship 2014 by then allowing a rookie like Nathan Harris the opportunity to make his test debut against the best hooker in the world Bismarck du Plessis.
It leaves you wondering if the All Blacks need to manage when they are having babies with the Rugby World Cup probably the worst time?
Still, it is good that the All Blacks selectors and management are willing to give people the opportunity to witness the birth of their child too. It does expose the lack of depth at hooker for the All Blacks with Dane Coles and an experienced but injury prone veteran in Keven Mealamu as the only options at this stage.
