This is sad news and something for managers to consider.
Wallabies and Brumbies utility back Pat McCabe has been told that he should never play rugby again after his third neck fracture against the All Blacks at Eden Park.
This is sad news for McCabe who was playing out of position on the wing, but whom I rated highly as a midfield back.
He wasn't a natural winger, but has had to mark Julian Savea from the All Blacks which shows his level of commitment.
This is sad given that he is only 26 years old.
Hopefully McCabe makes a recovery so he can enjoy life outside of rugby as we don't want his life to be ruined by a serious neck injury.

This also has ramifications for managers of www.testrugby.com, especially if you have Pat McCabe in your squad. It is definitely time to sell him before he loses value.
