The Rugby World Cup is about to kick off. Here are my predictions for the opening matches. I think they should all be relatively one sided.
Here are my picks for Round One of the Rugby World Cup 2011. I can't wait for the tournament to start.
Points to note
I think there will be plenty of one sided matches in these opening games. The underdogs will probably come out of the gates firing and will put up a fight early on in most matches, but the better team will probably end up winning well. I think New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Fiji, France, England and South Africa will all win by 13+.
The only matches to cause debate between fans will probably be more one sided than anticipated. I think that Namibia and Argentina aren't as strong as they were in 2007 and will be beaten relatively comfortably. I think Wales vs South Africa is the best out of this lot of matches and this will probably be the closest match which I am picking South Africa to win by about 15 points. It will show the difference between the Northern and Southern Hemisphere teams.
