Hire Experts For Concrete Cutting Making The Best
Concrete Driveways Adelaide is often recommended because of their low servicing. While road needs maintenance over several decades, concrete, once set up and enclosed, needs very little care. However, the concrete costs more than the road to set up, so you do pay a price for the time you will save.

The Benefits of Rotation 1 views 6 Comments

For all those who knocked the AB selectors for the selection policies - you might want to rethink!!!

I thought I'd add a quick post reviewing the selection policies of the AB coaching team! So many mocked their selections during recent overseas tours, the Tri Nations and of course now the rugby world cup. But it must be obvious to all now that there were reasons for their selections and these are paying huge dividends now.

New Zealand will always have depth because the pool of domestic rugby talent is so impressive, but not only do we have that but we have a fantastic pool of players with AB experience too. How many teams could afford to lose their first and second choice first fives but still be able to replace them with quality players with international experience. I could go through pretty much every single position in the ABs team and list quality players with international experience who could come in to the squad as replacements, but to cut a long story short the All Blacks could pretty much field a B team and they would probably still be favourite to win this world cup and much of this is attributable to the coaching staff and their selections over the last few years.

Big ups to the three wise men!! Kia kaha ABs!!

Rotation works! The moaners don't like it but as rowdy states, the AB's are able to bring in guys that at least know some of the systems and patterns. Without Carter NZ are reduced hugely in strength, but the coaches did their best to explain it to anyone who'd listen.. "we need a back-up to Carter" and so they were right. They also tried to establish a back-up to McCaw but nobody reached the required level?

@ Deep - When have we seen "total team change-outs" though? They certainly havent done that during this world cup! Maybe in the Tri Nations it could be argued that it wasnt a good idea in SA but in saying that the likes of Slade, SBW, Woodcock, Afoa, Ali Williams, Thompson, Gear, Toeava and Kahui all got valuable game time despite the loss and all these guys (bar Slade) could be big factors in this RWC. So I think that in hindsight it wasnt a bad option.

There's rotation, and there's total team change-outs. I'm all for rotation, but not changing the whole team. I still think this AB squad is only just reaching 'battle hard' whereas the Oz team is right at it's peak. That plus the injury toll takes it from AB's as clear favorites to AB's as very slim favorites in my book.

On home soil ???? A lot of people are making a big deal about the home team advantage. The only team that have handled the pressure of winning on home soil has been the Ab's and South Africa. No other teams have managed it, and it was happened twice to Australia, losing the final to England in 2003 and don't forget they lost at home to Wales in 87' and they say New Zealand chokes !!!

You are missing my point completely. Im not saying there is a gulf between the ABs and the rest. I am saying that rotation and selection policies are paying dividends. The ABs have been able to cover injury time and time again in this world cup with experienced internationals and that is a direct product of Henry and co's selection policies! The argument about whether the ABs are better than the rest is a different issue.
