Super Rugby is a battle of attrition with the season going from February to August. The most durable player over the last three Super Rugby championships has been Chiefs hard man Liam Messam who has logged nearly 4000 minutes. Is it a coincidence that the Chiefs have won the last two Super Rugby titles?
Interestingly, there are some key performers from other teams towards the top of the list. Usually having consistent selections is a good thing for a team. George Whitelock has helped the Crusaders to be a solid performing team, while Morne Steyn's absence could really affect the Bulls in 2014!
