Here is the Super Rugby Round 8 Team of the Round. There were plenty of surprise performances this round. Who do you think played well in Round 8?
Wellington and Rebels outside back Jason Woodward was one of plenty of relatively unknown players to dominate Super 15 Rugby Round 8.
Super Rugby Round 8 Team of the Round mainly consists of players who aren't usually in the Team of the Round. Players like top points scorer Jason Woodward, Reg Goodes and Cornell du Preez are three relatively unproven players who represent excellent value for money. Woodward scored two tries to help the Rebels beat the Force.
Outside back Julian Savea is the only player from the Super Rugby Round 8 team, to be a regular in the Super Rugby Round 8 team of the round. It is interesting having Hugh Pyle and Rene Ranger back in the team of the round given that they haven't made it in ages.
