Should England hooker Dylan Hartley be banned for reportedly doing what most people would agree with and calling referee Wayne Barnes a cheat?

New Zealand-born rugby hooker Dylan Hartley will miss the British Lions' tour to Australia after copping an 11-week suspension for calling referee Wayne Barnes a "f***ing cheat" in Northampton's 37-17 loss to Leicester in the Aviva Premiership final yesterday (NZT).

I don't have much respect for Dylan Hartley who is a New Zealander but is nothing more than a thug, ironically it seems that Hartley may have been referring to the opposition, rather than Wayne Barnes.

This is a shame, because given Wayne Barnes and his reputation for freezing up during important matches including the Rugby World Cup 2007 quarter final between New Zealand and France, it was probably a good thing that he finally heard the truth!

I know referees are often undervalued and often criticised, but Wayne Barnes is simply too inconsistent to be rated as highly as he is.

Lets just say that next time Hartley calls anyone a "F***ing cheat" he should look in the mirror, but he is should also face the other direction. Barnes is a frustrating referee in big games and it seems that now Hartley will miss the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia,

	3 . flying pig 29 May 2013 06:26 AM Hartley has spent nearly 45 weeks being banned for various acts of foul play over his playing career he deserves all he gets. On Saturday he was warned 5 minutes before he was sent off for his verbal comments. I think he is in need of serious help to control his actions. Best should have gone in the first place a lot better hooker.
